Welcome to the Clerk of the Circuit Court’s Electronic Filing System. As of January 29, 2014 Electronic Filing has expanded to PROBATE DIVISION. Electronic Filing is also available for LAW, CHANCERY, CIVIL, DOMESTIC RELATIONS and CHILD SUPPORT DIVISION. The system can accept documents such as pleadings, motions, and other papers filed in relation to the Law, Chancery, Civil, Domestic Relations, Child Support and Probate cases. All other division case types may be filed in the conventional manner.

IMPORTANT NOTICE OF EXCLUDED DOCUMENTS, CASE TYPES AND REDACTION RESPONSIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
Excluded documents and case types listed in General Administrative Order (GAO) 2014-02 may not be electronically filed and must be conventionally filed, including any document or case type required to be sealed by law, rule, or order. All filers must redact Social Security and taxpayer identification numbers, driver’s license numbers, financial account numbers, debit and credit card numbers, and any other information ordered by the court, in compliance with Illinois Supreme Court Rule 15 and Illinois Supreme Court Rule 138. This requirement applies to all documents, including attachments. Further, no discovery may be filed except by order of court, in compliance with Illinois Supreme Court Rule 201.
